Tegan and Sara

I love Tegan and Sara. My friend from my old school showed this band to me and I am so glad she did. They have unique voices, and I wouldn't call them beautiful, but I would call them interesting and different. (A good different). I really like their album, Alligator, because they have the same song throughout the album, but they have about 12 different remixes of it. They have a remix by artists like Passion Pit, Ra Ra Riot, Holy F***, Doveman, Automatic Panic, and more!

Metric

I really do love this band. I was out today and I was stuck in traffic going home and I listened to the same song by Metric over and over and over again the whole hour home. Yes, that is how much I like it. With Metric I get OBSESSED with their songs, (its usually one at a time though) anyway I keep playing them over and over and over again. They have a fun pop upbeat, beat to all their songs. Their music videos are always interesting too. I love their latest album Fantasies!

Spoon

I really like Spoon. Spoon is an alternative band that is really popular among all ages. Spoon is an older indie-rock band, and they have been around since 1994. Spoon has had new albums and new music coming out ever since. I personally like their more recent albums, but their older albums are sometimes fun to listen to. I really like their new album, Transference, which was released January 2010.

I love this band SO much!

M83

The band of the week is m83, and I absolutely love their album Saturdays= Youth. This album was really popular about a year ago, and over the Winter holiday's I was obsessed with their song Kim & Jessie. I listened to that song 84 times in two days, and it is not a short song (5:32). For those of you that like Animal Collective, M83 reminds me of them a little

Today's band of the week is my favorite band out there! She is very popular through out Europe and the United States! People of all ages LOVE her, I have never met a person who didn't like her songs.

Florence + The Machine

I love her so much! She has a rich voice that sometimes reminds people of Annie Lennox. Some of her songs are covers, but they are always done well. I absolutely LOVE her album, Lungs. Please Please Listen to her! SHE IS AMAZING!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR HER NEXT ALBUM
