This song is perfect. I am so in love with the opening of this song (which continues to fade in and out through the entire song) so much, words cannot even begin to describe. It sounds familiar, so I would not be surprised if a modern day artist took it from The Raincoats.

Lola- The Raincoats

This is a cover of a song by The Kinks, Lola. The Kinks wrote it and it is a fantastic song, but I think that I like it better covered by The Raincoats. It is just such a great cover, I can't get over it. I just really love the lead singers voice a bit better than Ray Davies in this particular song.
