Better Than Love

Better Than Love- Hurts

I heard about two or possible three (at the most three) months ago that the lead singer, Theo Hutchcraft is now dating Alexa Chung. I never blogged about it, and although this is no gossip site, it's music-related gossip so I think I probably should discuss it a little. I heard about the Alex Chung/Alex Turner break up around when it first happened and I think in mid-December I learned she and Theo Hutchcraft were dating. To  be honest, I really do not have too much of an opinion on the fact they're dating/ the break up of Alexa Chung and Alex Turner. Most that I know who like Alexa Chung, Arctic Monkeys, and/or Hurts have a strong opinion on the topic, but I don't know, I guess I am glad I know, but I don't really have an opinion one way or another.

Stuck on the Puzzle

Stuck on the Puzzle- Alex Turner

I really love the entire soundtrack to the movie Submarine, completely done by Alexander Turner. I know this doesn't have much, if anything to do with the song, but Alex Turner really has a great name. Some people their last and first don't sound too nicely together, but his does. 'Alex' and 'Turner' are both very common names but together it sounds unique.

Piledriver Waltz

Piledriver Waltz- Alex Turner

All of you Arctic Monkeys fan knows that Alex Turner did the soundtrack for the movie Submarine (click here to see the trailer). My friend told me about it in June, and I downloaded one song and I was dying to see it for months. Last month, I finally got to see Submarine and it not only had good music, but it was an interesting film. I liked it a lot. The last scene of the movie is very cute, and as I was watching it I stumbled upon this song, which is my favorite out of the entire soundtrack. It was the only thing I listened to for probably the week following seeing the movie. The Arctic Monkeys did a version of it on their latest album, Suck It and See, but in my opinion it is no comparison to the version on the soundtrack of Submarine.

I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor

I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor- Arctic Monkeys

Attention: This song is my new obsession. I have listened to it 31 times in the past 7 hours... and counting.
Anyway, the man on the right is the genius who sings this song, Alex Turner, and the one on the left is his very stylish girlfriend, Alexa Chung.
