Know Your Rights

Know Your Rights- The Clash

Two days ago, I was walking to my art class and I passed this record shop, so I went inside to check it out. I usually go to this other place that is huge and has everything, but it turns out that this one was so much better if you are looking for older records (no music that has been released in the past ten-fifteen years, I would say). But I found an original copy of Combat Rock for 11 dollars! I was so excited, because at the other place I go to, a new pressing of Combat Rock would be maybe around twenty! So it was great, also it was an original pressing! This is probably my favorite record by The Clash so it was so exciting for me.

Vinyl

Hi everyone! I just bought my first vinyl records! So exciting. I went to this fab record store that I could probably spend a day in and not get bored at all. I bought four records: The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths, XX by The xx, Antidotes by Foals, and Midnight Boom by The Kills. My dad has so many older records, so that's why I didn't really buy any classics. Though my dad doesn't have any records by The Smiths, Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, Pixies, The Vaselines, The Replacements, Neutral Milk Hotel, etc. My dad never really liked any of the bands I just named too much, he likes Nirvana, but he lost Nevermind and  In Utero.  So I need to go back when I have more money, because now I am broke. My dad has The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, etc. I made of list of records I need to buy. I decided to only buy the ones that I like five or more songs from, because some are pretty expensive. One of them that I bought was twenty-three dollars! But a lot of them are less.
