I know everyone who listens to rock 'n' roll knows and probably loves this song (if you don't your music taste is seriously off) but I have been listening to The Rolling Stones a lot lately, in particular this song. See, I was looking through my dads old records and I found an original pressing of Miss You-Single which I thought was really cool he has other records by The Rolling Stones too which I've also been listening to a lot more than usual lately.

Gimme Shelter- The Rolling Stones

Recently, I saw Mick Jagger and Fergie along with U2 and Will.I.Am do a performance of it on the 25th Anniversary of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame Special. I don't think that is the actual name, but that is what I am going to call it because I can't remember. The first members were inducted in 1986. The 1986 induction included: Elvis, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, and more. I was confused wondering why the Beatles and The Stones and HUGE groups such as those were not one of the first to be inducted, but you are only eligible 25 years after the release of your first record... of course they're in their now.

I love The Rolling Stones! I think almost everyone does, well, my mom doesn't but she has very soft taste in music. Anything that is even slightly aggressive is just no good to her. Except she likes a couple Nirvana songs which completely contradicts what I just said, but I think she only says she likes it because I force her to listen to it.
