No Widows- The Antlers

I love their album, Burst Apart, that came out last year in 2011. Hopefully you knew last year was 2011, but it's sort of strange referring to it as "last year". A lot of people that I know that like The Antlers prefer their album, Hospice, but I like, Burst Apart, a lot better, although both albums have a very similar tone, I think in Burst Apart they managed to enhance their strengths a bit more.

I think that their album, Burst Apart has a few great songs on it, but I like their album Hospice a lot more. As a whole, I do like the album, but I do not love it. In my opinion I think it is one of the better ones of 2011. Actually, just now I was looking back on a lot of the albums of 2011 and songs I downloaded from certain albums and I think that there wasn't large amount of "great" music this year. There are definitely albums that I love and think are amazing that came out this year, but there was not too many new sounds and I think (at the most) there was maybe 20 albums that I really loved. Yes there are other albums that had good songs that came out this year, but as a whole there are no more than 20 albums that a truly love.

I Don't Want Love- The Antlers

I adore this group and almost all of their songs. You have to look them up because they are amazing, lyrically beautiful.

Kettering

Kettering- The Antlers

This is such a peaceful and beautiful song. The Antlers are a Brooklyn based band and I am in love with all of their songs. This song is my new obsession. This is again, one of those songs that I think appeals to everyone, the only type of people I think wouldn't like it is if you listen to heavy metal, this isn't not upbeat but it is not a song you would bang your head to.
