Pythagorean Fearem

Pythagorean Fearem- Howler

This song is amazing, and I think that their enitre debut it great along with their EP This One's Different. I was reading something on the band where they stated their EP is much more pop than their album and it's very noticeably so. I mean it seems like two very, almost opposite versions of the same band. I find a lot of their lyrics to be pretty humorous and interesting, sometimes witty. I am sort of annoyed, because I would really love to see them live, but they are playing an 18+ gig. I don't really understand why bands do that to be honest. I understand if it's 21+ if a band is playing at a bar or something, but 18+ seems like an odd age restriction for seeing a band. It's little annoying for people in my age group (16, 17) because we are almost "old enough", but still too young.

Beach Sluts

Beach Sluts- Howler

This is from their debut! Ah, it finally comes out! I was listening it to a lot on the 17th (which is when it was released in the US) then yesterday I went out and bought it on vinyl. I do like it a lot! I like all the songs on it a lot, but I must admit the songs that were on their EP- This One's Different that also appeared on to their full-length album, America Give Up, I like the EP version better. This is one of (if not my favorite) song(s) off the album.  On the Lp I got, the back of cover for the record is really cool,
I might even like it better than the front, to be honest. The photo above is of the back of the cover of America Give Up. Sorry the writing for America Give Up appears backwards. Due to not having a camera, photobooth is my last resort which makes all writing show up backwards.

Back of Your Neck

Back of Your Neck- Howler

The debut album is released in 5 days and I really am so excited to hear it. I am trying to keep my expectations down because they are really high considering their EP and singles off the album are so great. Although, I am sure it will be great. This is a single off their upcoming debut.

You Like White Women, I Like Cigarettes

You Like White Women, I Like Cigarettes- Howler

I am so excited to listen to their debut album, America Give Up, which comes out January 16th. Their EP, This One's Different, is always nice to listen to. The band claims that they are bringing back rock n roll. I really hope they pull it off. Also, I suggest you check out their song Back Of Your Neck which will be on their upcoming album, it is also very good and I've been listening to it so much the past month. I will go further in depth on it later in the week.

This One's Different

This One's Different- Howler

I love this band's EP, This One's Different, very much. I think they are very talented and I can't wait to see what they do in the future. I like their lyrics, I am not sure why, but I just like them. I was actually reading a review for this band it said something like: "it's obvious that they are very influenced by The Vaccines" and I like The Vaccines and all, but I just do not agree with that! If anything, I hear a bit of The Replacements, and maybe The Strokes and a few other bands. I am not sure what his name but the guitarist in this song is really good. He has this solo guitar and it is just very great, it's probably my favorite part of the entire song. On the youtube link I posted, the caption says "This band needs to be heard," and I completely agree!

I Told You Once

I Told You Once- Howler

This is one of my favorite songs at the moment. I really like this band right now and I can't wait to hear more of their stuff. There are a couple parts of this music video that I just find so funny. I don't know maybe it's just my humor, but there is this one guy that's in the band who seems to be obsessed with knifes or something. Towards the end he just had all of these knifes in his hands and he puts them all against his face, and it was just so odd I guess that I found it really funny. I find those moments funny where you wonder "what is he/she doing" or basically "What?" moments. Sorry that had absolutely nothing to do with the song itself, but it's a great song and you should listen to it!
