I am so shocked I have posted so little about Beach House. I have their whole album Teen Dream. So amazing, I have listened to it a million times. (not really but it sounds better when you say a million verses eight or something.)

Walk In The Park

Walk In The Park- Beach House

Completely re-obsessed. I saw Beach House open for Vampire Weekend in September, but the only real reason I went was to see Beach House. The lead singer went to my sisters college, Vassar and in concert my two friends thought she was a boy, which I understand to an extent because she kind of does have a boyish voice.

UPDATE ON CONCERTS

Vampire Weekend Concert:

They put on a very entertaining show! At first it was great and interesting, but after a while all their songs sounded the same...

Opening Acts of Vampire Weekend:

Beach House: Not as good in person, but they did great when they sung Celine Dion's Zebra.

The Very Best: Were definitely not the best.

Overall Rating: 6/10!

Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa- Vampire Weekend

Though I usually do not like Vampire Weekend, I love this song. This song makes me very happy because the rhythm of the song reminds me of summer and the beach which apparently makes me happy. Even though I am going the the Vampire Weekend Concert September 26th at the Hollywood Bowl, but mainly to see Beach House (who is their opening act)! And of course to spend time with my lovely friends! Who knows maybe I will learn to like Vampire Weekend, along with the rest of my friends. (:

I love Beach House! It is one of my favorite bands and I have their whole album Teen Dream. This is one of my favorite song on Teen Dream. Zebra is a great song to study or do homework to, because it allows you to concentrate and listen to music.

Train Song- Ben Gibbard & Feist

My friend introduced me to this song. It is on an album called, Dark Was the Night. I love this album so much. It is has many different artists on the CD such as: Spoon, Grizzly Bear, Yeasayer, Cat Power, Beach House, and many more artists. I love Feist. She is a 34 year old singer from Canada. In 2007 she had a very popular song called, 1 2 3 4. Ben Gibbard is an American 33 year old singer-songwriter.This song is a good early morning song because it has a beautiful melody and is not too loud to wake up to.
