Ahh, I am in love with their debut and am currently dying to see them live regardless of the fact my friend told me they are awful live. I'll be the judge for myself. My friend who saw them live, saw them with Arctic Monkeys, TV On the Radio, Panda Bear, and Warpaint!! Which for the record was a show I would have loved to go to but my family and I were supposed to go to New York City that weekend, and my parents gave me the option to stay with a friend and go to the concert or go to New York and I chose to go to New York because New York is the best city (or at least one of them).

Imagine Pt. 3- Smith Westerns

This music just has a really fun upbeat feel to it. It always puts me in a good mood. I also love their music because when you think of what music sounds like, it sounds like this. I am not sure if that made too much sense, so I am going to try to elaborate. A lot of the time people, including myself, say things such as "it sounds like rock n roll" or "sounds electronic" or "it sounds pop" or "it sounds classic" etc. but I would say "it sounds like music". I think that is typically a pretty good compliment to a band because it is sort of saying it doesn't exactly fit into a particular category to well it just sounds the way you think "music" would sound.
