Spitting Fire

Spitting Fire- The Boxer Rebellion

This song sort of reminds me of something the great Ra Ra Riot would sing. It is so good.

UPDATE ON CONCERTS 2

Ra Ra Riot Concert:

They were very good, sadly they did not play all my favorite song's by them! They did not play Each Year or Winter '05, they played much more songs from their recent album The Orchard which was peaceful but boring. In the end the lead singer dove into the crowd during their song Dying is Fine it was definitely entertaining

Opening Acts of Ra Ra Riot:

The Villagers: Beautiful lyrics! But let's just say I sat down during their show... after the first opening act, they were a bore

The Givers: Look them up! Maybe even better than Ra Ra Riot! I bought their CD which was great! I bought their CD which was great and they were even better in concert! I LOVE THEM! Although, the lead male singer's eyes kept rolling in his head while they were on stage, I could not tell if he was stoned, or if it was part of the act. I talked to him briefly during an intermission and let's just say, I think he was stoned.... Also, the lead girl singers voice is beautiful!

Overall Rating: 7/10

The Orchard is officially available in stores and online to download!

Shadowcasting- Ra Ra Riot

I like this song a lot. Ra Ra Riot stays true to themselves, yet modernizes their music. I love the lead singers voice. Ra Ra Riot is able to adapt to the times. I have to admit this song is a little more funky and different than most of their past songs, but I like it. I feel as though the beat to this song sounds like oldies music from the late 60's.

Hello Everyone! Ra Ra Riot releases their new album The Orchard Tomorrow! How Excited Am I??? SO EXCITED!

Can You Tell- Ra Ra Riot

Last Summer I was listening to this song over and over and over again. It has been featured in many big movie hits such as, The Last Song staring Miley Cyrus. Anyway this song has a great beat to it that is very catchy and addictive.

Band of the Week

Tegan and Sara

I love Tegan and Sara. My friend from my old school showed this band to me and I am so glad she did. They have unique voices, and I wouldn't call them beautiful, but I would call them interesting and different. (A good different). I really like their album, Alligator, because they have the same song throughout the album, but they have about 12 different remixes of it. They have a remix by artists like Passion Pit, Ra Ra Riot, Holy F***, Doveman, Automatic Panic, and more!

Boy- Ra Ra Riot

I do like this song a lot, but my expectations for this EP were a little higher. I still love Ra Ra Riot and this song, but I do not think it is as good as all of the songs on their previous album, The Rhumb Line. Please comment and tell me what you think!
