Hurt- Johnny Cash

Okay, personally I am not a Johnny Cash fan. I don't really know his music and never really had to strong of an interest in learning about his music because I know he's a country singer and I am not that into country. I'm blogging about this song because I few weeks back when I was sick and had nothing better to do, I was watching "greatest songs of the 00's" and this song was on it. Like I said before, it was a stupid list but this and a couple other songs were the exceptions. This song was is so beautiful. It is a Nine Inch Nails remake and Johnny Cash does it so well. His voice is so powerful in this and it is like it was written for him. I am sorry, but the Nine Inch Nails version is no comparison to this. The lyrics are beautiful, which I of course give credit to Nine Inch Nails, but Johnny Cash's version, with his music video and everything is just perfect. I hear this song sort of represents/ is oddly similar to his life story. I, do not know Johnny Cash's life story so I can not say it is, but that is what I have heard. Even if you don't like Johnny Cash, I suggest you hear this because it is just fantastic.
