Ahh, Beirut, I feel like I haven't posted about them in forever. This song is insanely beautiful (like all of their songs) but this song in particular is just so ideal. I really have no idea how Zach Condon does it, how he can produce album after album and have all of them just be the best thing I've ever heard from the lyrics to the melody to the instruments and the way he carries his voice, I mean if I were to make a list of the twenty most beautiful songs I know I promise at least seven of them would be Beirut songs, but realistically probably around ten! I've been listening to this one a lot lately in particular, and clearly it's off their latest album, The Rip Tide.
