Although, I knew this song long before I saw The Kill in concert last May, it was not until I saw them perform it live when I became completely infatuated with it. Wow, I cannot believe that was almost a year ago! It's hard to believe how fast time goes...

This song starts out with a very soft and melodic sound, then it seems to be all of a sudden, this really awesome guitar riff begins. I think that this guitar riff is a really interesting contrast with the singers faded, sort of graceful and calming voice.

About two weeks ago, I picked up a copy of NME's 100 Greatest Albums You've Never Heard, which I highly suggest you get because it introduced me to many great albums that I've never heard. This album titled, The Greatest White Liar, was in this issue and it is probably my favorite of the albums that were featured in the magazine, along with another. So, it is tied for my favorite, but it is so hard to believe it was recorded just six or so years ago! It sounds exactly like it was recorded in the 60's, I mean it's so rare to find something from a certain decade that sounds so much like a different one. This Chuck Berry cover is amazing, as well as the entire album.

I think that the song that this story tells is very appealing, well I really like it. I love this song, and I have definitely gushed about it before, and I continue to gush about it because it continues to appeal to me!

Humming Bird

Humming Bird- Born Ruffians

The opening of this song is very Vampire Weekend-esque, but it quickly fades and dives into its own thing that I don't really have anything to compare to it. To me, it sounds like something off a soundtrack to a Michael Cera movie.

Put Me To Sleep

Put Me To Sleep- Porcelain Raft

I do not know too much music by Porcelain Raft, but this song is really different than the other songs I know by them, which may I remind you is only three or four others. It has a much more electronic sound, verses alternative. Even the voice of the lead singers seems to sound a bit more unnatural, I still like it, it's just different.

I think this song has a very gentle and light vibe. It's fun and feminine.

It's been over half a year since I first heard New Brigade, and at the most a week goes by where I do not listen to at least one song off of it. I am still listening to it a lot. I love this song because it is very high energy and very intense, but also very catchy.

This song is so weird, so quirky. It's electronic, and alternative. I don't know how to describe it because I can't think of anything that I've heard that is too similar to it. I think it is amazing and I am listening to it over and over and over and etc. Also, there is a remix of this song by Toddla T which is a really interesting (good interesting) take on the song.

At first I had mixed feelings on this song, but after a few listens the mixed feelings sort of went away.

I find the lyrics of this song to be very clever and funny. I really like the beat and melody too, but I find these lyrics to be just amazing.

Good Advice

I love this song for nearly every reason one could possibly like a song. The lyrics, the vocals, the instruments, and on top of that the garage rock sound is executed so nicely.

The Beatles!

Whenever I should be doing something, but I do not want to do that something, but if I don't do it I realize I have nothing else to do, I watch vh1's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. I've seen this show probably 50 times, I wish I was exaggerating but I am not. It might be the strangest relationship I have with anything. So, I watched it again tonight, and this link to The Beatles bit is the best part of the show, and I will stand by that comment for the rest of time. The Beatles are the best band of all time. If you are reading this and think I am wrong, then I as well as everyone with a brain thinks you are wrong.

My Parents Lied

Honestly, it took me a while to warm up to this song, and although I still have to be in a certain mood to listen to it, when I am in that mood, it seems like the best song ever.

This song can appeal to those who like rock music, pop music, country music, whatever music! It's very addictive, it lures you in so that you can't seem to stop playing it! It also gets stuck in your head easily; it's very catchy.

Karma Police

I am sure that all Radiohead listeners know this song, but I am not too familiar with Radiohead so I learned about this song rather recently. I do like Radiohead, and I have decent amount of their songs, but I know their new albums a lot better than their early albums. I am obsessed with this song.

Time For Heroes

I first learned about this song about a year ago, and I remember it being one of those moments of "This song has been out since 2002! Where has it been all my life?" I am actually really surprised I haven't posted about it, but apparently I haven't posted about many songs I thought I had. I am going through a re-obsessive relationship with this song.

Summer Of Love- The Sandwitches

It sounds a bit more polished on my download of the song than it does in this link, but I personally like this version better. I'm not really sure exactly what it is about the youtube version that I like better than my download of the song, but I do like it noticeably better. The other version is still good, but I just prefer this one.
